2018 FIFA World Cup officially kicked off in Russia on June 14. Before the much-anticipated event, a total number of 50 units Triumph luxury coaches made by Golden Dragon were put into operation, providing transportation services for football fans from dozens of countries, including Columbia, Japan, Morocco, Iran, and Russia, etc.
“Golden Dragon has been very supportive all along. When we have any problem, it (Golden Dragon) always come to help us without any delay,” said Peter Egorov, CEO of LLC New Moscow, the partner of Golden Dragon in Russia.
As the football matches for this year’s World Cup are held in eleven different cities across Russia, it has put a lot of pressure for Russian transport system with the flood of football fans from all over the world.
To ensure the smooth operation of its vehicles, Golden Dragon sent an after-sales service team to Russia in early 2018. Before the event, workers and technical engineers had been doing trouble-shooting work, making sure that every Golden Dragon coach is in its best condition.
Apart from 50 units Triumph luxury coaches, Golden Dragon also delivered 150 units 12-meter city buses to St. Petersberg, one of the eleven host cities of 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Golden Dragon officially entered Russian market in 2004. After fourteen years’ expansion, the number of Golden Dragon buses working in Russia has exceeded 2,000 units so far.
In 2013, Golden Dragon set up its subsidiary in Russia, further strengthening its presence in the country. To date, it has 12 distributors and after-sales service centers across the country.
